text 6 Mar A thank-you note

Dear God,

Thanks for providing me with transport to every Bible Study Fellowship meeting. You’ve never failed to get me there, despite the many times those I depend on for a ride were busy or stopped going. It never ceases to amaze me how You provide people who are willing to take me there.

Thanks for sending me to UPM and being my friend when I had no one there. It was a rough experience, and you taught me to depend on You. Thanks for the people I eventually got to know and still cherish. And thank you for allowing me to leave (was it Your plan all along that I make an impact for a semester? And was it Your perfect timing that resulted in me being in the pioneer batch at Monash?)

Thanks for opening the door for me to go to Monash, even though I had a B+ for Chemistry. I remember praying that ‘your will be done’, really wanting to get a place there and afraid I couldn’t because I didn’t meet their requirements. When I got the offer letter, I was relieved and happy. Thank you.

Thanks for the coursemates who are older than me or of the same age. I know it was a silly fear, not wanting to be the oldest, and I know that even if I had been the oldest You still would have helped me make friends. But I’m thankful all the same. ;)

Thank you for my friends.

Thank you for my family.

Thank you for meeting all my needs - for my home, for my clothes, for the food that I eat every day. And for a mom who can cook so well.

You are so awesome.
